B-17 Accusim Released!!!

Love this plane...

I took a flight from RAF Thorpe Abbotts yesterday and took her to 20,000ft over the Norfolk coast. She is easy to fly, responsive but you definitely get the feeling you are flying a big bird. As I approached the target alitude the co-pilot told me the crew in the back were getting cold....I'd forgot to turn the heating on......:mixedsmi:

Very nice screens everyone. Making me wish I was at home this weekend so I could fly it. Daytonite-Andy all Accu-sim aircraft have displayed distance to sea level. All you have to do is start your decent and it pops up in the pilot notes panel. I have been using that to my advantage for quite awhile when flying their aircraft. Definately helps with decent planning. The moving maps available inside the aircraft are a huge help too.

Jankees you are a master painter buddy!!! Outstanding! Looking forward to them

In the past he has been a prolific painter of the WOP2 B-17. I think it's inevitable that we are going to get a fantastic selection of paints for this aircraft, were going to be spoiled for choice! I'm really looking forward to them, B-17 have had some of the most spectacular colour schemes of any aircraft ever.

Does anybody know of a Sentimental Journey paint for this beautiful lady?

I've just taken my first short hop in this plane.... I'm still at a loss for words. I've never flown with a virtual crew before, and the realism is really something to behold... WOW! Thanks to all at A2A who have brought the B-17 to life, literally:salute:... Jankees, your paint brush is like a magic wand, friend.:jump:

This week I'm going to get started painting all the 401st I had for the first version of the 17. I want to say thanks to everybody over at A2A for this amazing add-on. When I was a little Shylock my uncle had given me his B-17 flight manual and I studied that book ever since I was a kid. So after getting the pack I was able to jump right in, set her to cold and get everything up and running first time. I love being able to do the proper engine run ups. Thank you A2A!!!!!

All this realism put Mud's brain in a loop LOL...OK what the heck FUDDY DUDDY!
