Jankees what about your "Institut Geographique National" paint? It was stunning even with the guns! Can we have a link to download it?
But... did you find a way to make the guns invisible?:tgun2:

OK.....I think its time to LOCK this thread down now!!!!

I am sick and tired of seeing these awesome shots and paints....don't make me go buy this thing damn it!!!!!

:applause:

Well... skyhawka4m, the A2A B17 is ... "so immersive" (as Scott says) with the accu-sim engine, that you really feel there. The same with the accusimmed A2A piper cub. I can't fly no more without a deep realism of dynamics and sound, and iper-detailed virtual cockpit, ad instrument vibrations, and so on... All things that you have flying in real life. I hope that A2A continues the work building golden era general aviation accusimmed aircrafts (and, why not, contemporary GA planes).

Well I have the Puiper Cub but without the accusim add-on. I may have to add that at some point. I've blown my wad of money for add-on's this wekened but I may go for the B-17 next weekend.

I gave in last week, downloaded it, spent the afternoon watching Memphis Belle on DVD and the evening trying to keep it in the air and not break it on the way down.

I really need to get out more :)

btw the paints you guys have done are amazing

Andy I did just the same thing!! After getting over the learning curve for engine/fuel management I flew the B-17 from San Francisco to Honolulu (broken up over a few days with save points) and it was a great experience to actually feel uneasy while flying because things CAN go wrong!!

Hi Guys

I've got a seious problem with my B17 installation. Just wondering if anyone has had the same...

I've lost ALL control of the cockpit. All click spots are dead - nothing happens when I hover over anything. Even the windows!

I've tried restoring my FSX folder from a backup, without success, so I guess there's a problem somewhere in my 'User' files of Windows7 on drive C. I've also tried a reinstall, but no change.

I have posted over at A2A, but not heard back yet there.

Any ideas guys?

Hey Dougal since the issue was related to ezdok and can affect any aircraft, it migth be worth you posting your experiences as I am sure such an error is going to pop up again and again.

What is wrong with my B-17?
Initially my primer pump worked, but now it does not. When I place the cursor over the pump
the tool tip appears but now when pressing the left mouse key it no longer turns into a
closed hand and an engine cannot be selected. Why? I used the BUTTON CONFIGURATOR as an
excellant workaround. What a neat tool and a great plane.

Not yet, Kowalski, but I'll keep you guys posted.
Dominican, who knows??? But there are a few others on the to-do list first.

Meanwhile, a few more from the 401st:
