AB effects look cool but don´t harm hard targets like tanks. The blast and danger for the low flying ground attacker is the same. For the SC and SD bombs up to now I haven´t noticed any difference ecept the above mentioned spike. This had the intention to make the bomb blow up before it was digging itself into ground.
