The Supebug HAS been released!

For those having problems with their throttles, after the initial install my throttles (CH quadrant) were not recognized. I followed some text on the ACM: (1) Quit FSX. (2) Start FSX and load the default Cessna 172. I also did a quick take-off. (3) Quit FSX. (4) Start FSX and load the superbug. I then got the flight controls verbal warning and swiped my throttles, joystick & peddles. Everything has been fine since.

Like others I also cannot see the wings except for the lights, and my HUD is visible outside the combining glass.

Even with the initial snafus I'm delighted with this addon. I new standard for fast jets in FSX.

Looking forward to the tutorial vids. I really would like to get the quick and dirty basics on how to setup the AP, use heading hold, alt,and nav to a location.

Thanks bud!

Now the wait for 1.0.3.0 begins! lol

I had very similar issues. The best is to start from scratch. Uninstall ACM.
Do an install.
Then go here "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\VRS_FA-18E\ACM"
Right click on VRS ACM X.exe and tick the box "Run this program as an administrator"
And you should be good to go.
If the server is down. :blind:
Anyway, I hope this helps

Ben

Still the same problem with it, throttle one works just fine. Trying throttle two, and it won't read until halfway through the axis, than at full axis the throttle is only half open.

GAH if only I knew the administrator password...my dad built this PC

Well I just made a new administrator password, and guess what...it didn't work.

Sheesh..this is getting freaking old!

Thanks for the tip though better not be the case....ugh I want it so bad!

Diego

edit: just read this

"Do not attempt ro reinstall the software repeatedly. It will only run you out of keys."

better not be the case....ugh I want it so bad!

that's what she said ;)

Downloaded, the registration and installation worked fine, but FSX crashes every time when VRS is selected:confused: I have FSUIPC 4.60a and Win 7 Ultimate.

wow...so I was able to finally register.

downloaded the installation files, went to install...and I get trojans?

what in the world!?!?!

For anyone who was having problems running the ACM like I was, uninstall the ACM and delete any files left over from it. Redownload the file from the support page and try it again. This worked for me.

Still not able to fly. But alas, the support forum is definately down and a bug fix is apparently on the way based on the flash update on the home page.

Followed the instructions to the letter but still can't get any control surface to function.

When launching the ACM:
Error: An error was encountered while trying to load one or more files
Error: InvalidArgument=Value if '0' is not valid for 'SelectedIndex'. parameter name: SelectedIndex
Restore setting from the original backup files(s)? All settings will be restored to factory defaults
Error(s) detected: Controllers not yet initialized. Please run the Superbug once in order to build the control file.
Then close it, open ACM again.
Pass go, collect $200, on Tuesdays, in a leap year.

Even the complex ConcordX was easier then this. Oh well, I'll wait till the forums come back on line.

I really dislike this sort of addon where you don't actually get a 'real' download. It's what PSS did with their aircraft, and look where they ended up. I don't think this thing will have actually put the installation file ANYWHERE on my PC.

This means no support from me, no matter how good the add-on is.

Drool....

edit: has anyone else noticed there are no animations like the FS9 version? no ladder, radome doesn't open, etc.
