I think some would, but not enough to make much money out of it. This sim has been out a while and that would have some bearing on it. If a radar screen was useable to chase down intruders to visual range at night, that could give it an edge, sales wise. However, I dont believe it's possable. Nice looking start tho TED. We could use some jap bombers to chase ? 4 engine seaplanes ? Emily , Mavis.

I'd buy it, anyway. But those who say the market isn't wide enough may well be right. Having said that, you'd get a bit more back than if you released it as freeware as you've done up until now. So actually making real money may not be the main issue - just getting a bit to spare for other things, perhaps. But I think most of us would gladly part with $10!

I would! But I concur with those who say that the market is small and that a FS version will probably boost sales. A dedicated FSX would be the most beautiful, grahics-wise, but also the most work, I think...

I just wanted to have a way folks could donate to SOH and get something else back too. I'll wait and see the response and decide. I think freeware may be out of the question and FSX not for me.

Actually, I always wondered what that thing would be worth as a ground-attack aircraft; struck me it would be a first-rate platform, and if one ditched the AI and replaced it with a noseful of Hispanos or something and slung a few bombs under the wings...

a couple of decades ago. i saw a picture of marines in the pacific who cut off the nose of a widow.they removed the radar system,and where adding a nose multie gun mount from a p-38 into it.it was a field conversion not a production unit. maybe a similar set up can be g-maxed into it.
