The Supebug HAS been released!

I believe so. I was reading the instructions and it said that your key is only good for a handful of installs before it's no good.

From what I've seen of this FSX version release *cockup*, they seem a pretty good bunch.

I don't supose they would deny a genuine customer new activations. PMDG do it all the time (at least for me):jump:

This is aircraft is one of the top ten most complicated aircraft ever released. You can't fully beta test all the kinks out of if with but a small company. I'm sure things will be fixed soon. The ability to make it at all is a testament to their capabilities.

Still not able to fly. But alas, the support forum is definately down and a bug fix is apparently on the way based on the flash update on the home page.

Followed the instructions to the letter but still can't get any control surface to function.

When launching the ACM:
Error: An error was encountered while trying to load one or more files
Error: InvalidArgument=Value if '0' is not valid for 'SelectedIndex'. parameter name: SelectedIndex
Restore setting from the original backup files(s)? All settings will be restored to factory defaults
Error(s) detected: Controllers not yet initialized. Please run the Superbug once in order to build the control file.
Then close it, open ACM again.
Pass go, collect $200, on Tuesdays, in a leap year.

Even the complex ConcordX was easier then this. Oh well, I'll wait till the forums come back on line.

Support is back up. Turns out I need a Joystick to make this thing work. Part of the system requirements I did not read and you don't get a joystick with the $50 purhcase price.

How in the world we turn on the hydraulics of this thing? All i managed to do until now is been parked in the tarmac with the engines on..... i don´t even managed to steer it!!! hehhehehehe

I looooooot to learn.

Roger that!

I must say I finally took this on a flight for the first time today. This bird is one complicated piece of work. For that reason alone I like it, lol. I actually had to pull out the real F/A-18E NATOPS in order to figure some of the stuff out. There are key commands for the NWS and autopilot for a reason. :icon_lol: Definately great work though, and true to form.

Dude... How can you possibly think of flying without a joystick! And believe me, you need one for this add-on.

Ben

I give these guys an A++ for support. They refunded my purchase. :salute:

I agree with you, a joystick is a requirement for this add on, rudder pads and throttle also highly recommended. I wasn't quite ready to make that investment yet as I like to be mobile with my notebook. So I'll look to this sim in the future when I can build a more dedicated flight sim system.

I STILL haven't had a response from my VRS forum registration!

Means I STILL don't get any support!

Hey Tigisfat,

Your avatars have never been amongst my favs here, but i'm sure that doesn't come as a surprise to you because that's the reason behind 'em i guess, but is this latest one absolutely necessary you think ??......

Dunno bout others but for me it takes away the pleasure of reading a thread where you participate in. Mission accomplished.... :salute:

Ha! I thought it was just me. I found myself scrolling the page so I could read the rest without that in my vision.

It's gone. I guess that one was a little too creepy for ya. It was just a dude in zombie makeup, I hope you didn't think it was something else. I didn't think it'd gross you guys out that bad.

It has now been replaced by a (hopefully) less offensive 'captain obvious' avatar. If you don't find the new one agreeable either, shoot me a PM next time. I'll get it quicker.

Sorry!:engel016:

Nice one TIG.

Now, VRS, I'm sure you look here. I'm starting to loose patience...

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get my forum registration email done!!?? ( somewhere95 @ msn . com )
