I think you're right, Mick. It's a late block (275 +) airframe of a Ki-100 (the first 275 units had fuselages waiting for more powerful 12cil. inline engines that never arrived). Late production had cut down rear fuselage and (few people notice this) large cord tail (with a wider angle leading edge) to compensate the loss of vertical surface. Yashico had a very good model (the best to date IMO) but it was not possible to shine.

I too think Ki-100-II ... and Pepe ... I agree ... WE NEED THAT D3A2!!!!!

I thought Thicko was also working on that project ... but that was a while back.

Sure hope this missing link will show up someday soon.
