A Question re Defiant

First of all to all concerned, thanks. It's wonderful.

Perhaps it is my setup, but there is a wrinkle I've notice between the Mk1 and Mk2. When flying the Mk1 (upgrade installed), if I instruct the wingmen to attack, I get the "negative" or "can't comply" response. If I fly the same scenario with the Mk2, the wingmen do respond.

Have I mucked something up here, or is this a glitch?

Thanks, again .

I know they say that. But when we attacked the Do17s as a group I'm more than sure my boys hit them hard. Also when I was out of ammo and we came across a lone Do17z the boys shot it down when I lead them past it.

On my version of the mk1 defiant there are two shades on the underbelly,the right side is sort of whitehish the left side is dark.
Does any body have the same,can it be corrected ?

Confirmed, Greg - they do do the job even if they say they don't want to. But I wish I could find out why...

Greg, Ted and I have already answered this question copiously in the other thread where you mentioned it. Why not read what we said first?

...perhaps because it is hidden in the 'fix' thread and he hasn't read it yet?

He's had two days to check for an answer...

Meanwhile, the difference is this:

The MkI xdp says this:

<Seat Name="Pilot">
<Stations>
<Station Name="Pilot" Type="pilot_station" View="0" FovUp="45" FovDown="30">
<PadlockLimit AzimuthMin="-134" AzimuthMax="134" ElevationMax="90" ElevationMin="-45"/>
<Views>
<View Event="HeadStop"/>
<View Event="HeadPitchUp" Azimuth="0" Elevation="-30"/>
<View Event="HeadPitchDown" Azimuth="0" Elevation="50"/>
<View Event="HeadPitchUpLeft" Azimuth="-45" Elevation="5"/>
<View Event="HeadPitchUpRight" Azimuth="45" Elevation="5"/>
<View Event="HeadRotLeft" Azimuth="-90" Elevation="-5"/>
<View Event="HeadRotRight" Azimuth="90" Elevation="-5"/>
<View Event="HeadPitchDownLeft" Azimuth="-154" Elevation="0" X="-0.1" Y="0" Z="0"/>
<View Event="HeadPitchDownRight" Azimuth="154" Elevation="0" X="0.1" Y="0" Z="0"/>
</Views>
</Station>
</Stations>
</Seat>

While the MkII says this:

<Seat Name="Pilot">
<Stations>
<Station Name="Pilot" Type="pilot_station" View="0" FovUp="45" FovDown="30">
<PadlockLimit AzimuthMin="-134" AzimuthMax="134" ElevationMax="90" ElevationMin="-45"/>
<GunStations>
<GunStation ID="0"/>
</GunStations>

<Views>
<View Event="HeadStop"/>
<View Event="HeadPitchUp" Azimuth="0" Elevation="-30"/>
<View Event="HeadPitchDown" Azimuth="0" Elevation="50"/>
<View Event="HeadPitchUpLeft" Azimuth="-45" Elevation="5"/>
<View Event="HeadPitchUpRight" Azimuth="45" Elevation="5"/>
<View Event="HeadRotLeft" Azimuth="-90" Elevation="-5"/>
<View Event="HeadRotRight" Azimuth="90" Elevation="-5"/>
<View Event="HeadPitchDownLeft" Azimuth="-154" Elevation="0" X="-0.1" Y="0" Z="0"/>
<View Event="HeadPitchDownRight" Azimuth="154" Elevation="0" X="0.1" Y="0" Z="0"/>
</Views>
</Station>
</Stations>
</Seat>

When you add those lines to the MkI, they sound more interested. But as Greg says, it's only cosmetic. They do get stuck in anyway - I've checked!
