AS B-24 Paint kit????

Charter Member
I got a request for a repaint of the Alphasim B-24 and was wondering if they ever had a paint kit for it floating around somewhere. I believe this fellow wants the FSX version painted but I only have the one they put out for free a few years back for their 9th birthday celebration.

There's two paintkits that came with the latest model, one for FS9 and one for FSX, but there were quite a few errors in those. I believe Gary Horton did a much improved version, but I never got round to using it unfortunately. It is huge (500Mb), so mailing is not an option, but maybe if you ask Gary?

Jan,

Thanks. Do you know where I can find the improved version? I tried to search his name but didn't come up with anything on the B-24.

Did flight 1 sell the same exact B-24??? Wow interesting I found a paint kit for download on their site.

Actually, its mine, and I am sorry, but it's not available anymore for release.

Ah, sorry Rob, didn't know you were here too!
I'm sorry I never used it, it was a great kit, but I got distracted by lots of other projects..
who knows...

I have Rob's repaint kit Shylock, used it to do "Lily Marlene" for a classmate of mine and did a couple other repaints to boot. Send me a PM with your email. The Paint Kit is 170 MB zipped, may have to split the textures and send them in separate zips to get all to you.

Cazzie, I have your Lily Marlene repaint (that was uploaded at SOH), and that is not my repaint kit, that looks like the one that came from Alpha Sim.:salute:

It is Rob, my error. But it does the job. I do not believe I have seen your Paint Kit anywhere Rob, what is the primary difference? I have had not problems dealing with the AS Paint Kit.

Bruce,

Sorry for such a late response. The request was for "Witchcraft" like the Collings Foundation B-24J even tho the real "Witchcraft" was a H model.
