Eaglesofts's DA42 Twinstar

Looking pretty sweet! I wonder if that is Laurie Doering's model, I remember he started it awhile back.

I have twice emailed the design team begging to know when they will release it! Each time they patiently replied, "soon as it's ready!" :icon_lol:

I have obviously been very eager to get this one. I guarantee I will very soon.

beautiful looking bird...just might have to spring for it :D Is it me or does the lady passenger look like she has a 5 O'Clock Shadow... :d

The DA42 from Eaglesoft will be released in two versions: one for FS9, the other for FSX. The reason being that the FSX model will have features that simply aren't possible in FS9 at all...

And yes, this is based on Laurie's original mesh, although it's been majorly rebuilt and added to over time. So far, I have invested > 2,000 hours in the model and gauge system.

It's just the shadowing in the screenshot. Ms. Perky Poly is wearing an Yves St. Laurent blouse, and (not visible in the screenshot) a diamond ring on her left hand that sold a few years ago for $685k...

i have a question abuot the canopy and roof...on the abacus one it appears as just a drawn line...no "depth" or 3d to it at all...so does this aerosoft one in the screen shot...that alone will stop me from buying it...the one i sat in at my local airport has a visual depth to it...hard to discrib for me and i didnt take a pic...but it does not look like just a line

Just a question I've been wondering about... The plane has diesel engines? FSX doesn't have a fueling trigger at airports for diesel. So does it use Jet-A or have really, really big tanks?
