Hi All,
Just a note to the members here, Jens converted DC-4 is in the CFS2 Aircraft down load section. captmercy did up a great cockpit layout for it. :applause: The panel and gauges are included in the package.

Also, there is a Ai Aircraft along with the player version. This was needed to keep the flight dynamics sweet for free flight and such, and the ai flies and flames good for qc and MB.

I think you guys will like what you see in Jens model. I forgot to mention that captmercy has included the notes and checklist. Have a look at them.
Also, here are the coords for the vclights that need to be replaced in the aircraft.cfg.

[LIGHTS]
panel= 0.00,2.04, 7.90, fx_vclight //Lateral (m), vertical (m), longitudinal (m)

It may take several seconds to show the vc light, if it doesn't press your " L " key and wait a bit.

That was a fun one to do....dvslats added an air file called DC-4_plyer for those of you that want the Marker Beacon Receiver....The WEP....and the Navigators DME in the Radio Room to work just rename the sim section in the aircraft.cfg file from DC-4 to DC-4_plyer like so...

I just downloaded my upload. :rolleyes:
What my mistake in the package was....accidently leaving both air files, Player and Ai in the player aircraft folder.

Thinking I'll make a "fix it" upload to take care of that plus some other items that are missing or unintended. Sorry 'bout that. Me must be getting a little aged in the head. Where's my Geritol...dang it. :p:

BTW: Is anyone aware of a 'candy bomber; skin for this aircraft ( or am I going to be forced to do one?)?

Well thanks for that oldwheat. I feel better already. :-D

For the cookie bomber, I have seen a ton of skins at flightsim. Not sure if there was one of these though.
I used " Jens B. Kristensen " in the search pane. There's a paint template there too.

The Fix Is In

A heads up. An "update" for the DC-4 is now in the CFS2 Aircraft section. It should cover the snafus in the initial release. :salute:

Hey oldwheat, at Avsim I saw a paint template from Jens. The file name is dc4_pt21

Should be top of the "What's New" page in the Add-Ons Library.

If you don't see it, let me know. If you don't see it tonight, it should be visable to you tomorrow.
