Well the 310R is now in the simulator, and the coders have been busy doing what they do best. Just wanted to give a shot to show progress is being made and to see what people think thus far.

Well I think the gauges look really nice. I see the "default-style" GPS in there which is okay... I'd just request you guys don't use 3D knobs so us Reality XP users can put the GNS530/430W units in instead.

I think the request about the GPS has already made it in. Someone else suggested that awhile back, and I think that unit will be able to be swapped out.

We are providing a blank slate panel so that any gauge packages can be added. We will maybe also do a modern day Garmin setup but it will be using the default(s) if it's done.

Still deciding on whether or not to do a 2D panel... opinions? That said, all gauges will be 3D in the VC.

Oh, and yes, it's the first Milviz only project...

Would you guys mind stepping it up a bit before all my birthday money is gone??LOL Outstanding!

yeah but it would add some development time right?

2D cockpits are like FS9 to me - I never touch them anymore hehe.

It looks really good. That gauge lighting is gorgeous! Since you asked, I'd say don't bother with a 2D panel. It would definitely add to dev time, and I'm not sure the ROI is there. It seems to me that 2D panels are the province of heavy metal fliers and FS9 enthusiasts, neither of which seem to be your target audience. And now I'll stand aside and let the FSX GA 2D lovers cry foul...

:)

I agree. 2D panels and gauges need to die out with the dino's. :salute:

+1!! Looking good!:ernae:

Just curious. Why the second RPM gauge on the left panel instead of an indicator for #2 VOR?

cheers,
steve :wavey:

the #2 VOR gauge is broken and in the shop. Used an RPM indicator for direction finding.... works great... as long as your at about 1Krpm.. otherwise... you're lost!
