Hi all,I went to JRB Fort Worth Saturday to the air show,Got some pics of the F-35 .I know Dino is building one .From my understanding the plane was added at the last minute . Sorry for the quality but all I have is a small digital camera . The rep there said it was suppose to do a demo, but it was so windy {25knot winds} that many didn't fly . The guy was real informative about the plane when I told him that people were building models for a flight Sim .

In the second pic you can see that the MFD's are energized. Hmmm, must have left the master switch on, and it doesn't look like a GPU is anywhere near either...where are those jumper cables, haha.

Nice pics, but don't think that plane will fly anytime soon... it is only a plastic model they show at airshows. LM has shipped it (or a similar one) to several airshows in Norway as well.

Ahh, a fake. That would explain alot.

Yep that is a mock up that Lockheed brings around to aishows. It's been around for a few years and in fact I don't even think it reflects the latest production model changes they've made. Here's some photos of the real thing taken on Friday afternoon. I took these shots of AF-1 and AF-2 as they were beating up the field after a test flight. They normally don't do that....it's usually just a straight in and land but I was glad they did! Follow the link below for the photos:

Yeah, there's no way that on battery power alone that it would be aligned and indicating everything correctly too, especially on a fighter. Fake gauges.
