Step 4

the problem seems related to the lightings in to the model but but but... ... ... :a1451::censored::angryfir::banghead:

Unless you're talking about a different one, that Spanish one will be payware.

Oh will it? I thought it was freeware.

Not that it didn't look good enough to be payware, I just had it in my head that it wasn't.

Edit: Tig I found the thread about it ;

It will be available probably as donationware

Fingers crossed!

You still pay for donationware, thus the donation part of the word, at merida I have been trying to fix this aircraft too with no luck at all!

Which is totally fair and nearly awesome.

Agreed on the fair and doubly agreed on the awesome.

This is the kind of thing I wouldn't pay £30 for (simply because I don't often fly things like this, not because I doubt it's quality), but will happily make a donation.

I wonder what effect donationware has on piracy. Of course by definition freely downloading any donationware isn't piracy, but I mean how many of those who would have pirated a payware version would make a donation for it.

My only problem is with the hud, if I have it on i can't see through it, if I want to see I have to turn it off. I tried the hud off of the default hornet and it has the same problem so i'm at a loss.

have to disagree here, but then again, piracy is a black and white issue for me also. I have never seen the point of donationware. If someone likes a freely distributed model there is nothing stopping them from donating, so you might as well make it freeware and hope for the best.

Donationware is a great deal for those that have no need or want of revenue for their work. Now if you are trying to make a living, well that's another story...

The AV8B+ Harrier made by the Base virtual de Rota is expected to be available this summer as donationware, and will be released in Spanish Armada, USMC and Italian Marina schemes. Now we are flying the fourth test version.

Donations will be addressed to support the webpage (www.bvr.es, needs register), full of free addons. And the model will be released with a big freeware fleet for FSX, including several carriers with skyjump.

In the other hand, it will be great if Merida or any other modder is able to import the Iris Harrier to FSX without bugs, since it is a great plane and will not be replaced by ours - it is a GR7/9. In my opinion, it is by now the best Harrier available, and I´d love to fly it also in FSX.

Any one tried Rob Barendregt's hover gauge with this aircraft? (available from Avsim, just look for rcbvcb10.zip) Apparently it contains porting instructions as well, although I'm not sure which version of FSX he ported it to.

hi guys ,did you know the iris harrier and f15(and alot of other iris products) are freeware now ,wwwwwoooooooooo :)

please try to get the harrier working ,also , does anybody know of any other fsx updates for any of the freeware iris aircraft ,it says there for fs2004 ,but the f15 works fine in fsx ,what about the rest (f14,tornado ,f35)

thanks
