• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Now the president of Iran has a name that to some, is difficult to remember, or pronounce properly:
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
You can generally get away with saying
"President I'm mad inna head..." without any sense of irony.

I agree it is worthy of Newshawks. However, nothing he said surprises me.

The truly scary fact is that within a year this man may control nuclear weapons. Within five years, he may control delivery platforms that could range to the United States.

Frankly, there doesn't need to be editorial comments added to that. It is considered fact by a wide range of international experts, and the facts alone are worthy of honest airing.

There is a small blue triangle in the lower left corner of every post made here at SOH. It allows any member to air private concerns to the staff who actually have the job of publicly airing concerns to the membership. Frankly, if you wish to air concerns, that is the proper venue. Other efforts such as this frankly seem attention getting steps.
