Flyer...

When words fail us, a moment of silence is requested

Your brother has gone, to where no man is bested

Alive in your heart, in everclear skies

Though one sun has set, still another will rise

So friend, please know, we share in your pain

In everyone's life, must sometimes fall rain

We look forward to see, your happiness renew

And when silence fails us, tears are ok too

Hi Flyer,

Thank you for another video!

I'am very sorry to hear about your brother. You'll be both in my thoughts today.
I wish you strength in the coming days!

Flyer,
I can empathise with you. Just now happened on your thread. My brother and I joined the Air Cadets program in 1954 together. I got my discharge as soon as I possibly could (1962) because the military wasn't my bag. My brother retired a Major after 23 years and 2 tours in Nam and died of a stroke at the young age of 62. I constantly relive the times when I was at Andrews and he was with SAC in Maine and would fly simulated missions over D.C. in a B-47 and we would scramble our F84's and on Armed Forces day I watched him refuel over head in a B-52. He donated many items to the MAAM. But life must go on to prove how strong we are.
Best wishes,
Rich
