I´m not very happy with this bird.
The sound hangs a bit over 2000rpm,the textures are not very sharp,the windows are too dark,even when you use the enbseries and the interior is not worth to speak about.
Personally i would say---for payware i expect more.
Will see,if i get a refund.
Like i said,that`s my personally conclusion.

Upon viewing the announcement/screenshots days ago I wasn't overly impressed, I thought surely this was going to be free :kilroy:

I wish Piglet would make a fsx one, what happen to Icarus's Storch?
 
This is axially a really nice plane, it just need a little texture change for the prop, and the eye point of view changed but flies well. And no its not "free" but it is reasonably priced for all you get with it. Dirk Stuck did a vary good job on this, it has 3 D gauges and a great flight model, no the texture are not the greates "but" for the price you get a nice plane that we needed badly for FSX, and I'm sure there will be repaints for it. So I think this is just a vary good plane at a reasonable price and we should appreciate that we have it, just my two cents worth!!!
If any one wants to change the eye point of view this works for me=

Thanks Marvin for the review.

I dont think I could ask for a refund just from the sound file. Many planes I have purchased didnt have great sound. If I didnt like it that much, I just dropped in a different from one from another plane.

With a little effort even I can change things, the texture were OK but I like green interior so I change it. Instead of cutting it, I got what I wanted. When life hands you lemons just make whiskey sevens!!! just a WIP hehe.

I got this today, and really like it; especially the compass and the wing fold! Awesome!

Sound is just great, in my opinion, and the aircraft looks and handles beautifully!!

Pilot shows up when you turn the light on (switchbox on the left side) Manual is soon avialable

Does this Storch feature the realistic long stroke landing gear?
This was one of the main problems when designing this plane in earlier FS versions.
Long legs with a rather narrow track in flight which widens its track and compresses a considerable and highly visible amount during touchdown and on ground.
Required for a fully stalled landing (yes I know that that's not approved in the original manual....) and a very characteristic feature of the real one.

Hi Dirk,
thanks for the Sound-Update.
Could you please make a patch for the windows,they are too dark together with the
enbseries.
Also i`m flying with 0.30 zoom in the outside view and the aircraft is very small with this.
It would be nice,if you could correct these things.
