Would that be the Falklands turkey shoot?

Haha, I hope you mean our side mate, I don't think they wore this sheme during there defeat rather the camo variant!

Zsolt mate absolutely great paint, I won't be flying it but the weathering is amasing, please do a IIIS with the same weathered look!

Yea. They were painted a bit brighter in those days. Plus they were tasked with a mission they weren't really geared for. Three large fuel tanks were required for the range they had to travel and that didn't leave much allowable weight left for more than a couple small bombs and cannon shells. If they could get through that wall of Sea Harriers they could inflict some damage. Problem was they were under such pressure that they pressed the attacks too close and released their bombs without enough time for them to arm. If they had done that right the could have inflected much more serious hurt than they did. Then of course there were the Super Etendards with their Exocet missile that rewrote the book. I was a young 2Lt that summer going through the US Army's Armor School. We watched the news every night.

Thanks for the repaints. Looking forward to their availability. And why would you paint a IIIS like that? That would be totally unrealistic. The Swiss proudly take better care of their aircraft than just about anyone.

The "wall" of Sea Harriers wasn't all that tall nor thick, all the same the Argentinian aircrews were at a massive disadvantage for sure (Be they Daggers, Skyhawks or Entendards etc) and with all that in mind they did a very good job of making a mess of our fleet. Mostly down to poor leadership, lack of intel etc on our part its a long story and one that has been discussed time and time again. But... The SHar's acquitted themselves very well in dogfights where they were ALWAYS the minority in numbers.

Kudos to both sides.

Being something of a patriot and suffering the loss of a family member in the conflict I hate to see the Falklands being termed by the "M" word but this is a forum of free speech and after rereading my first reply post and I actually feel ashamed of my words. Apologies to anyone I may have offended.

Nice Paints Zsolt, great talent.

Yes!

There is no problem!
You then need to find a balance
We love to fly, to be in English or Argentine :unitedkingdom: :argentina:
Honored there fighting soldiers on both sides! :salute:

Thank you!

Zsolt

Well the Swiss did smear some gray over their national insignia to tone them down. Otherwise they keep (kept :frown: ) them pretty clean.

Yeah they always were clean, I'd just like a 'what if' kinda worn looking one, it's just me, I like em dirty lol!
