I partlcularly love the fly-past sound. By the way, is there any chance you'll be doing one of your fab cockpit videos for the P-36??
Hello and thank you SpaceWeevil, I'd like to make a test flight video for the P-36 as soon as I find some spare time! This airplane certainely deserves to be shown in motion !

Agreed...an awesome plane. I now own the Hellcat and this and will soon own the Dauntless. I'm kinda glad I switched to FSX now......thank you.

What is next in your awesome line?

How about an IAR-80?

Dammit ijay you beat me in getting a screenshot of it at Duxford!!!

Beautiful modeling work, guys this is a gem!!

BTW, how does one differentaite the magnetos???

I can't make it switch off just one magneto either, not reliably anyway. It's strange because the fuel selector is another click & drag rotary switch and works perfectly. I've asked the question over at Product Support, but it's a small niggle in a magnificent model.

Not complaining, just saying it kind of takes out the realism a little...

It is truly gorgeous to fly, and very easy to do so. it is light, responsive and very aerobatic!!!
Well done Vertigo!

Ive played with the mag switch and I'm able to switch to either and it works as good as the fuel selector. We'll do some more testing and see what the problem maybe.

Mag switch appears to work here as well.

I love this plane! I've always liked the lines of the P-36. Just a clean, right-looking aeroplane. You VS people have done a fine job.

Great work on the Hawk, is there a paintkit released together with it?
My interest in this aircraft is to get it repainted to Norwegian colors as used during the early years of WW2.

Hi,

Drool,Drool,Drool,Drool. . .

This looks amazing!:salute: When you compare it to the A2A P-40 in one of the screenshots posted it just blows the A2A P-40 right out of the sky! (pun intended)

Just one small question: No attitude indicator? would have been interesting intercepting the enemy in IFR even with that instrument?

Cheers,
Craig Tatley

Ah.... now I can Deano. I was just using the mouse roller, rather than click and drag.

You're right, it does work with click & drag, it's just that four out of five times I shut the engine off when I don't mean to. It doesn't seem as controllable as the fuel, but maybe my technique is faulty - it's been said....

I'm a fan of the left click / right click convention for rotary controls (as perfectly realised in this VC with the cowl flaps control and heading indicator adjuster) or the mouse wheel.

Anyway, it takes nothing away from what is my favourite FSX add-on of the year so far.

Wow!! She's stunning!!!! I really love the flight model!!! Nice job Vertigo Studios!! each aircraft you make get better and better!!
