Fsx native Sikorsky S-61N coming soon

Which'd make it pretty useless for that task in Ireland then :d

haha well yes it would , but the irish coast guard have used Sikorsky S-61N's for years with great results , but in the next few years they will get replaced by the S-92 :(

Sorry, i love studying places and its pet peeve when people should know better...

So, any new developments?

The project is still moving along nicely , no news or pictures at the moment though , just be patient , one thing i know is it will be a hell of a chopper when its finihed :)

The only new thing to say is that the Irish Coast Guard paint is being redone to match the new rivets and lines. Almost finished. Don't want to update to often and start boring everyone to death! :p:

Irish Coast Guard paint is finished. I won't be doing any more repaints on this S-61 yet since more stuff will probably be added to the texture sheets, and I don't want to have to modify 10 repaints!

Here's a pic of the ICG paint:

Looking good...now all we need is some good freeware Irish scenery to base it at. :)

Yep your right , all we really need is hangers with the Irish coast guard logo at each of the base's ( Sligo , Dublin , Shannon and Waterford ) .
Any takers ???????? :)

if so give me a PM

Surprise! Here's Mr. VC! :D That's right. There has been some secret work. I finally got the VC to work and have been starting on some of the details. Here's what's going on:

-Seats have been modeled and textured
-Cyclic has been modeled and textured.
-Left side of the interior has been textured, along with the floor and wall behind the pilots
-Main panel has been started (Was done a while back, just placed in the cockpit recently)

Just a little update. A few parts have been textured. (The main panel, and a few exterior parts) The collective has been modeled and I am trying to fix a view problem the collective has created.

Today, I finally got the main rotors to flex! (I was taking the wrong approach before) I also textured all the back seats, and now will try to finish off all the exterior texture mapping. I will get some screenshots up soon!
