• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I didn't realize that Hari Kari was a well established Vietnamese tradition...

You know, in certain older civilized cultures, when men failed completely as they have, they would throw themselves on their swords.

Fortunately the emphasis is now placed on trying to learn from your mistakes so you do not repeat them in the past rather than throwing away the lesson by disembowelling yourself and having your kaishuakunin decapitate you.

I'm not a happy camper either, but there is no reason to commit suicide as that solves nothing.

Live on PPV and at the Superdome. The CEOs of BP! CEOs of BP get to live the mess they made by swinming in the oil from the gulf, tar and feathered, and much more! The must not miss event is when Tony Hayward commits hara-kiri! That right hara-kiri!

Tickets on sell now!, and buy it on PPV for $100.99 or $110.99 HD! With HD TV you can say you were there. All proceeds of the event go to the gulf relief fund.

All I can say is, the ethanol folks are missing a golden opportunity.

I was thinking this morning they need to start running a TV ad with corn washing up on the beach. :icon_lol:

The cavalry in on its way.....

Guys don't worry I just saw Dutch news and saw two Dutch companies, among which the very experienced company Boskalis, are on their way to help you out. First they will put up dikes to safeguard the hard-to-clean swamps of the state Louisiana from pollution and after that they will use special oils sweepers to remove the oil from the ocean.

You guys should know the cavalry always arrives just in time ;) however never too early :d

Cheers,
Huub
