I have put up Ted's Do217 N aircraft. You will find them in his hanger
Also I have put Househobbits B24 new missions on the B24 page.

Lights. For the short tail cone version as I've yet to find out where the tail light was positioned on the parachute housing.

Oh, and it works absolutely perfectly against the Viermots too.

House request a few n missions

Now, with the Do 217's, the bf110's and B-17 and now a B24 you can research the ill fated 1943-1944 attempts by the Germans to use these lesser nightfighters and non-experten to attack daylight American bombers. BTW, I have done this against unescorted planes and it is fun. Put a few p38's and p47's and well not very nice at all.

Yes, I can imagine.... :d

I've done a mission, player is from Luftwaffe side with a heavy fighter.
January 11th 1944, wheather was clear enough and the 8th engaged 3 combats groups, only one of them was lucky enough to be covered by Mustangs up to the objective.

The combat group that went to Brunswick was not covered for the last 100km before the target and the first 150km after the target. This is where they've been engaged by heavy fighters. That day, both sides suffered significant losses.
Well, even without escort it's difficult, I've never been able to land safely at home..... so I can imagine how it could be with several escort fighters in the air, even under 109's cover!!

The mission is rather simple as there are only 8 B24's and 4 B110's but everything is as historically accurate as possible (date, wheather, location, time.....). It uses the FP B24, I will probably release it with the freeware B24J to come.

NacthPiloten,
I am on the road right now, an ill fated trip I'm sorry to say..
But I should be Home tommorrow, i'll start these for the Do 217's then..
Have a great one..
Off to wreck a Harley..LOL..

217N and B-24's

Finally got around to flying these new birds . . . thought I'd give the 217N a go against some unescorted B-24's. Had some good success with the Schrage Music. It took some practice to get lined up, but there was definitely less defensive fire coming my way in that configuration.

You're not kidding about these guys being a little undepowered. If I got too far behind or below the 24's, I couldn't catch up!

Sure think they look mean, though. Super work! Thank you again.
