ERA/SWITCHING -ETO ......from time to time and need the- some tips , if yee will pls

every so often i get the era-switching , messed up all good then flips into different era,,from requested .....

example will spawn *2, then select era 2- battle of brtiain , screen shows up as 1944 era and most times flips into the proper era at times doesnt ....


if there is a tip" fix when this happens id really appreciate , i love this addon eto , and its got me

lost in space on this issue .....

I've found this happens to me when I leave windows explorer (the file manager, not the browser) open when changing eras or starting the game.

Just close it and reselect your era and see if it fixes itself.

It happens to me too; once-in-awhile. I defrag my harddrive and it seens to work fine after that. Do not ask me why, because, I do not know :mixedsmi:. Try this one, too. It might work

Same here if I leave it open too..
Wow I throught is was just my set up that did this..
Welcome back LB..
I use Game Booster now whenever I run my flightsims..
No problems when I use this..
it seems to shut down all unneeded programs running in the background..

Before there was an eto expansion 1.0, before there were desktop shortcuts, and before releasing to the community the era switchers where created and tested under windows explorer. I never saw a corruption of the files while having windows explorer open.

Are you making sure to momentarily delay before selecting another key in the 2nd command window? You have to give your machine time to change some of the file names before selecting the 2nd command window.

It doesn't corrupt anything. It just keeps the splash screens from switching properly, thus you think you're in a different era than you just selected.
