Bear in mind though that many/most of the 190s deployed to N. Africa retained their 74/75/76 grey camouflage. Not that many (or so I gather - not really my thing) were repainted in 78/79/80. The main thing is the white fuselage band, and perhaps white lower wing-tips.
 
No, I'm not talking about the one your are thinking about. I'm talking about the one that was shown to the community a long time ago, a few months before chapter I release. It's a F8 of I/SG 4 (not quite sure) and it's for the stock FW190. I don't know who is the skinner.

Did you check the .xml file for the aircraft to be sure that all of the guns, pylons, and weapons listed are present in your MAW guns, pylons, and weapons folders?

That's one of mine Loic, but a very old one, in-fact, one of the very first skins I did for MAW! The colours are way off, I meant to change it, but lost interest.
I only did this one, because the new model (that will never be released) came along, I've never looked at the stock 190 since! lol
The other was done by Wildbat I think?

If you want to upload the skin, or send it Nonato's way, you can!

I checked the .xml file for the download cited by va44 and it includes weapons loads "gc_sc50_internal", "GC_SC500", "GC_SC250", and "G_Droptrop". None of these are present in the stock MAW weapons folder. This would cause a crash problem. Since the one Zep and I cited is just a skin, the loadout causing your problem may be different depending on the aircraft model you are using.

Got it and it's a beauty. Do you think we could persuade Mathias to allow us to release it such as it is? There are other, finished (or more finished) cockpits that will fit in as I'm sure you've discovered. If it was released "as is" the user could figure the rest out for himself...

Perhaps I should ask. It's a shame to see Mathias's work and your skins lying round unused.
 
Major, no-one would want to stop you from doing a skin for north africa. You do what you do and you do it sooo well.:jump:

Okay, I've got the stock one renamed and working in MAW, so now it's just a matter of doing the skinning. A better model would be nice, but we'll have to make do with what we have.

This one will be another of the "Ghost In The Machine" planes as Kurt Bühligen's Fw 190A-4 built by Arado as #681 and flying with II/JG 2 in Tunisia November 1942 to April 1943.
