OFF Manager Error

Since I've been running OFF2, I've gotten this error from OFF Manager when reentering the main menu in campaign:

"The driver cannot recognize the specified command parameter"

Does this have something to do with videos? I noticed that these have never appeared in a few days of playing OFF.

Let me know if this is a codec issue. Thanks!

I've gotten basically the same message " OFF does not regonize device" or some such bulldinkey, upon closeing my activity for the night.

OR the oldstandby "CFS3 was inproperly shut down " Do you wish to find out more about the problem

As long as OFF is a patch, you are bound to get such messages.
CFS3 was Never intended to be set in WWI

Plus . .if you have it on disc, I wouldn't worry about it, all that much

Welcome to the world of patches, whenever you force a computer to do something it wasn't programed too do initially, it protests :ernae:

Yes you need to install the vid codecs.... this has nothing to do with patches, computer protestations or any other mumbo jumbo.

Thanks Lads. Since I wasn't seeing any videos (how often should they come on?), I suspected it was a codec issue.

I guess these are the indeo drivers, eh?

Thanks, T

Hmm, downloaded the indeo codecs - still no videos. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Tom

Hmm. You could try the K-lite codecs. I had this problem when I got P2 also. I first got the k-lite and they didnt work but the Indeo codecs worked for me. So I guess its worth a try.
