Nice to see another WW II aircraft being developed for FSX.

It is a beast of a looking aircraft - raw, powerful and brutish. No wonder it earned that tag.

May I ask what filled the upper section between the cockpits? Surely the bomb bay was not that tall?

Directly behind the pilot was 100 plus gallon fuel tank and slightly further radio gear , most this sat on top off the bomb bay .

Lookin' good so far...hope it's gonna' be the SB2C-1C with full wheel covers and large spinner.

It´s a SB2C-4/SB2C-5 since there were minor external differences no earlier variants SO FAR are scheduled, we´ll see how it develops.What i can promise is that it will be as "bitchy" as the real thing was..

Behind the cockpit is the battery, not a fuel tank. It is accessed by a panel on the starboard side just behind the cockpit.
The Confederates version of the SB2C is in bad repair as can be seen by the deflated oleo strut on the tail wheel. The radios and the life preservers are missing. The lower portions of the landing gear covers are missing.
So far so good as the work that has been done. Good Luck.

The rather significant oval shape of the engine cowling/fuselage can't be missed in all of the screenies.... is that Ok ?....

I mean, couldn't it be a tad or two too oval ?....

If it'll prove something needs to be done about it it's always better to do it in early stage of development....

Otherwise looking pretty slick !

Prowler 1111 - I just came across a bunch of SB2C detailed drawings, kinda yellowed with age, that must be 60 years old. It's quite detailed. Your welcome to have them. I was about to throw them out. Let me know.
