F8F Canopy

Deano....will you PLEASE!!! increase the smount of slope in the windscreen...its still too darn sloped. jezzzz:banghead:

The Fw 190 look might have some basis in history, as Leroy Grumman (a very accomplished pilot)on a wartime visit to England flew the Fw 190, his comment: "I wish this was the plane we had built". The genisis of the F8F concept.

Ya have to watch out for these Brits, sometimes a subtle sense of humor.....

a serious note, the canopy is being looked into and so is the pilot, however, we wont be making the pilots head hit the canopy top.

humour back in play.. the photochop image looks a hell-of-a nice canopy.
 
Dean...The only good thing about all this Canopy/ Pilot business and the passion with which people have talked about it.... is that it seems to indicate you've chosen a popular subject. hope its a success for you.
