FSX Acceleration!
I've just been looking at some of ferry_vo's photo's of a museum he went to in Germany and one aircraft in particular caught my eye, it was the Swiss C.3605 target tug, would anyone else love to fly one in fsx, I wish I could make aircraft because this would be the first one I'd make for sure!!!

I saw one of those. I think it was at Speyer. Darned thing looks like a T-6 where somebody just started adding things to it to make it fly better. Interesting airplane though.

I know where your coming from, its like a T-6 canopy, Mustang'ish' wings , Bf110 tail and a Pc6 Porter nose, wierd but wonderful mix-up?? haha!

If you read the text in the first link (I'm using Google Chrome with a built in translation service), it states that he's building both FS9 and FSX versions.

Heck yeah man! I'd take one of 'em in a heartbeat. That is one seriously awesome plane.

Not me.

I prefer my aircraft like I prefer my women...beautiful. :d

I remember talking to him on FFDS when he presented some of his projects. He wanted to do them for MSFS at first, but in the end had more fun just modeling and texturing them in 3DS Max instead of going for the whole sim product.

Amigo Bjoern....." Beauty lyes in the eyes of the beholder!"""......from real experience I can guarantee to you that when you get around my age...." almost all women, almost all, almost everyone is beautiful!!!!".....you´ll see!:jump:

The original 3603 was a much better looking aircraft: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F+W_C-36

The nose had to be elongated when the engine was replaced by a turboprop to maintain the centre of gravity; the turboprop engine is much lighter than the original Hispano-Suiza engine.

And yes I would love one for Fs! :jump: Fits well with other 'alpine oddities' like the Pilatus Porter and the Dornier Do-27/28.

It's no a Breguet, but a Fairey Gannet; obviously it doesn't have the beauty or grace of either a fairy or a Gannet, it looks more like an overweight, pregnant pelican.. (Not that I would mind having an FsX model of it, but that goes for a lot of aircraft.. ;) )

That's what I like about this place, I get to hone my knowledge of obscure military aircraft :)

Well as was said before beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I personally love them both, I have a native fsx Gannet which I love flying just really want a C.3605 too!

Where did you get it? I think I might give it a whack, as ugly as it is. I hope my friends don't find out. You know what they say about ugly girls and Mopeds, right? Fun to ride every so often, but you wouldn't want any of your friends to know about it.
