Or is it better to wait for the ETO update?
I'm sure it's why my bombing accuracy is so bad.....lol.

I'll second that request. I believe Capt. Winters sent them over to Reg's almost a month ago.
 
Perhaps I am mistaken but the TK_B24_D_849 seems to have a sound file aliased to a engine sound which doesn't exist (or at least doesn't exist in my ETO install). That is, "DR_Engine_Sounds\US_Engine_Pratt_Whitney_R_1330-90_x4\sound". I don't see a four-engine Pratt and Whitney engine sound.
 
Lovely piece of kit!

I'm now looking forward to the RAF and SAAF examples - don't forget the RAF and SAAF used the Liberators III and VI heavily in Italy, especially for the Warsaw Rising supply runs. It was also used by the RAF in the Far East. RAF use wasn't confined to Coastal Command alone!
 
Addendum: I think there is a typo in the B24J Sound files as well (not the D). I think it should read "Alias=DR_Engine_sounds. . . " while it merely reads "Alias=Eng_sounds. . . "

Nice catch. I've been having trouble with them locking up the UI during boot-up of the game, but every time I looked at the sound file cfg I thought it looked correct, so was still looking for something else that was wrong.
 
It's subtle, but it makes a big difference. I became sususpicious when one of the B24Js was my last aircraft employed. When I restarted - CTD. Took a while to see the missing "ine" in Engine.
