Hey guys,

For the "Frantic" missions, one of them is going to be a supply drop to Polish soldiers in Warsaw during the uprising. I will be using the FDG B-17 Flying Fortress for this. But in order to do this, I would appreciate someone doing a .dp edit so that this can be added to the payload for the B-17 F and G models...and that they will drop like weapons.

Specifically, the drums and boxes. I don't think the Polish underground troops needed engines.

Hi Rami,

I think I could try, but I don't know if FDG's cargo for their C-47 can be split in different parts.

Now, I don't recall if there is a separate *.bgl for different parts of the cargo, I think it is considered whole. If so, there aren't any chances only boxes and drums will drop, the whole thing will drop.

I'll look into it.

They're in the same bgl. but they are seperate items. You can add em to the dp file anyway ya need to

Actually Rami, the partisans would probably be pretty unhappy if you dropped the cargo boxes and drums on them because their dp is that of a bomb. "Whoa, that blew up real good!"

So here you go, new dp files for the cargo boxes and drums that just raise some dust when they hit and a dp for the early B-17G to carry the load. THe least I could do in return for your help on the Europe scenery.

Wonderful! And I like the .dp effect. Earlier tonight on Skype, a group of us were grappling with the idea of how to put parachutes on them, but this seems easier and just as effective! :ernae:
