• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

i didnt say anything about internt..i said local bar.......but after i typed that..i really dont anna get booted from SOH i enjoy the SOH and im retract my invitation,,,,but if yer ever in auburn look me ok?
 
If you want to put a disclaimer on the link, it should say something like this; " Statements posted at QMS are the opinions of the poster and in no way reflect the positon nor opinions of the SOH or it's Administrators or Moderators"

That was the point I was making. I don't think it was bait.

First of all you are right you have no dog in this fight. Second it doesn't have to be a fight. There is no conspiracy to shut QMS off. Nothing else needs to be said. By the way point taken into consideration Toastmaker
 
I didn't bring my laptop to work today, so I'm on a company computer that blocks certain sights, the QMS being one of them. I can't see the Smack they're saying over there, and I'm very curious.

Guess I'll just squat and pee with the rest of you sissies! Haha.
 
Thank you for the response CK,I appreciate everything you do here.It seems to have been a coincidence that the saloon was lost for a bit,as I stated earlier I rarely jump to conclusions and was waiting to see what happened.:jump:
 
Wow, I never intended this thread to end up going where it did. I figured all along there was a glitch that needed fixing. My bad for the influx of humor there at the end of my original post.
Boy, I think this heat (weather) is starting to get to everyone.

I used to visit the QMS quite often but rarely posted there, I got a good laff out of some of the threads and the things that were said in some circles. Always thought that the QMS was a "let your hair hang down" kinda site. Irregardless of what was posted there and by whom, I just took it all in as good entertainment, and what I didn't like... I didn't go back to read on a 2nd go round. I don't have an issue with what the Staff here at SOH does with anything. Just thought it a bit odd that there was such a "ruckus" after reading the posts in this thread about the whole mess.

Ya got a point there TeaSea maybe we should open up an insult booth at staff and ya pay quarter to just unload! I did something similar once for my students one summer...they loved it!

I just went to QMS and finally had a peek. Honestly, I thought it was kind of funny. Who takes this crap seriously, anyway.

I'm with you Ed. Folks have been a bit wound up tight around here lately. Some more so than others. Heck, I thought we were all friends here.
