Hey all,

One of the planes needed for 'Frantic' is no longer readily available, so I was wondering if we can cobble together the remaining parts. Andew Wai (AcWai) has a very nice IAR-80 that is much better than the 1% version. It has a pilot in the model, eliminating the need for the US_PILOT folder, as well as a full virtual cockpit and a few skins.

I don't have the file names anymore, but here's a link to the skins page.

PSULLYKEYS sent me the original aircraft with the readme, so full permission is allowed for upload as long as the downloads are in their original form.

I have the aircraft version dated 03/27/2002, but I'm looking for the gauges pack on this page:

...as well as the updated version dated 12/24/2002, and the shiny model on the bottom-left of the page courtesy of Dbolt. I we can cobble together these files, they can be uploaded, thus preserving another excellent model in danger of being lost.

If you have these, please contact me via a PM, and we'll go from there.

Ah rats, beat me to it. I love Andrew's aircraft. I still use his M.S.406! His P-51D has the best VC I've seen for the CFS2 Pony.

By the readme of his planes, seems like Mr. Wai allows the redistribution of his planes in other websites as long as the files are unchanged.

Maybe it would be a good idea to add the rest of his planes (apart fom the IAR and the well-known Mustang, a good bunch of Japanese planes, a MS.406 and a Spitfire XIV at least) to the SOH, as another source to download these planes from.

Japlance,

Actually, there were very minor changes made to the uploaded files at accordance to his request. I made sure to follow the directives.

As far as the others, I see no major rush, primarily because most are available at Simviation. The IAR-80 was an exception, though. However, provided the packages are in unaltered condition and the readme files are followed, I see no problem with uploading them here.

I want to thank you guys for the skins and gauges, the -80 is one of my favorite aircraft(I got the Classic Airframes plastic model around here somewhere).:salute:
