Best Freeware F-15 Eagle

I'm looking for the "most recently updated" and best modeled F-15 Eagle. Sometimes I think there should be a coding system for aircraft like this that constantly undergo revamping and upgrades, lol. It can be a daunting task to find the version that is most recent and contains all the various updates, changes, etc. So any assistance will be appreciated.:salute:

There are currently two F-15s out there that are freeware. Coral has one and Iris (former payware) has a few variants available. Personally, I recommend the Iris airplanes because there are 35 models - basically C,D and E models with many configurations.

If you choose to download it, there is a querk in FSX with the effects. I think the afterburner reignites on its own. You will need to search the forums here for the fix.

I had forgotten how nice the F-15 from IRIS really was. I used to have it, then lost it, along with most of my other IRIS payware in one of several crashes. It's nice to get back into the cockpit again. I do remember one thing I wasn't crazy about was the "heavy breathing", lol. I think all I did there was run it through an editor and drop the volume so it was just barely there while flying. I need to get back into the documents and figure out what everything does again. . .thanks for HU!!:salute:

By the way, I haven't encountered the AB-relight yet though.

Hi Ed I actually started a thread a few months ago on how to fix/modify the iris F15's with a new HUD which also helps frames just do a search for it and there's some useful tips from various people for the jet!

I like this F/A-39 Vortex with this skin. Tulsa, OK. Is were I was born.
