I have 28 missions done so far, these include attacks on Guam,Saipan,Rota and Iwo Jima. There is also the Bombardment and invasion of Saipan. This all leads up to the "Turkey Shoot" which I've got quite a few missions for. You will not be going up against a mass attack by the IJN Planes but will be flying from certain carriers and intercepting different Japanese flights.

Examples.

1)-Planes from USS Essex will attack planes at Guam as they form up to attack the USN Fleet.

2)- While going to Guam you will be called back to protect the Fleet from IJN Carrier palnes.

3)-The first IJN attack found the USN BB force and you will protect them.

4)- You fly from Enterprise and intercept Japanese dive bombers and torpedo planes attacking her.

That's only a few of the missions.I have 2 or 3 missions to finish up the IJN attack on the USN Fleet and than I will start the USN Fleet attack on the Japanese Fleet. These missions will be broken up the same way as the attack missions,you will fly from different Carriers and attack specific targets.Planes you will be flying during these attacks-Dauntless,Avenger,Helldiver and maybe a Hellcat as an escort.

Also included will be missions by Shadow Wolf. These are the attack on Truk.

I will also have some missions on the attack on Hollandia.

With this mission pack and the Leyte missions I already released alot of the 1944 carrier ops should be covered. I know there are not somethings covered in 1944 but I chose what I thought would be interesting and have some action.

I just got Leyte working perfect. It's quite a show! If I quit gawking at what's going on, I might make it through a mission! I'm sure this one is going to be great as well. Thanks, Talon.:salute::salute::salute:

You have really seemed to master those pesky ships. Mine often go where they please, no matter what I tell them to do.:ernae::ernae:

I know how hard you've been working on this. I'm sure it will be well worth the wait. :ernae:
 
30 missions are done as of now,15 of them are in defense of TF 58.

At 04:00 June 19,1944 the attacks started from land based aircraft (Night Corsairs from Enterprise were launched to intercept them ) with the final attack trying to land on Guam around 14:30 t0 15:00. Of the 40 planes trying to land 21 were destroyed in the air.The other 19 were so badly shot up they were never operational again.

The next missions is a search from Enterprise which locates the IJN Fleet,after that it's the USN attack.I'm not sure how many missions will cover it but they should be fun.

Thanks from me also Talon. I am looking forward to their release. At some point after Aces, I plan to do SOLELY USMC squadron missions in the PTO until finished with the war in PTO. Then, back to either MTO or ETO Western front. I just cannot get into the Russian stuff.
 
Talon, I haven`t posted this before but I am doing a story using CFS2. Your missions will fit and thank you for the work.
 
I started the USN attack on the Japanese Fleet. I hope you like flying and landing in the dark. You attack the ships while there is still some light between 18:21 and 18:45 but have to land in total darkness.Good thing there are lighted carrier decks for you.

So far I have the Enterprise Dauntless attack on the IJN Carriers Hiyo,Junyo and Ryuho. Before you get to the Carriers you will pass over the Japanese tankers and see them get attacked by Helldivers. Than your mission is to attack Ryuho.

The next attack is by 4 Avengers from Bunker Hill that carry torpedoes. They were the only Avengers to carry them,all others carried 4 x 500lb bombs. In this mission you attack Hiyo. It's not easy at dusk.

Oh boy, here I go to meet Davy Jones again!!!! Everytime I fly in torpedo bombers or Helldivers Davy is right there waiting for me to come see him again!

Excellent teasers there Talon. I can't wait! Time to go set up some torpedo practice missions!
 
I'm always intimidated by night missions, but I'm always down for throwin torpedoes.

Looking forward to these Talon!
 
Talon , didn`t have a chance to post untill now.The story is of an ENS., we follow him from flight school to Midway to Guadalcanal. That is as far as I have gotten. What I want to do is in the readme put in suggested combat missions that he flys durring WWII after Guadalcanal.
