Need Help with VC Instruments.....

gera

Members +
I want to change some instruments in a VC but so far I have not been able to. Can someone show me the way to do this?..I want to insert and change some....

Thanks....

For the most part, you can only swap out like-for-like, in other words only gauges of the same size and shape...

...and then only if they are "projected gauges" and not 3d modeled/animated gauges. It is not a simple procedure at all.

Download the demo version of FSPanel Studio here:

I can't say that "everyone" uses this program. . .but it's pretty close. By far the best program for making changes-additions or building an entire panel from scratch, etc to any 2D and most VC's. If you plan on doing this to more than just one airplane, then investing in this program will save you hours of frustration

Forgot to ask, but what aircraft are you trying to change? It may be something I can fix for you pretty quick if I have the airplane, or can download it.:salute:

Thanks....I am downloading now.
I have a list of planes using old FS9 instruments that surely need to be changed and there are some "foreign" ones that simply do not display the instrument so I mean to place them directly...

Yea, anything using the old '98 version gauges is a problem. . .all of Kazunori Ito's airplanes are like that, even the most recent ones he's produced, he still uses the very old gauges. I try to purge the gauge folder from time to time to keep it clear of these gauges, but it's not easy to do. Sounds like an investment in FSPanel Studio is your future though if you have that many you want to modify. It really is worth the money and it get's very addictive after just doing a few, you suddenly find yourself looking for other panels to "fix", lol.
