310 Out!

The 310 has flown great for me thus far, no problems at all so I consider myself lucky. I'm staying away from the update since it only seems to be causing more problems than it fixed.:salute:

We are working on locating the issue(s). Sorry about this. Seems like fixing one thing broke two others! We're on it and will have it fixed before the weekend!

One other thing I noticed in the original version was that fuel was not being used out of the right side main tank. Both selectors were in main for their respective tanks but after about 30 minutes in the air I noticed having to hold in more and more left aileron.

I've seen this, too, but I think it depends on exactly how you load the C310. Like you found out, the fix seems to be simple - move the fuel selectors to the off position at the beginning of each flight, then move them to the respective main tanks.

I installed the service pack over the original and, for me it seems to have created problems with the AP and the ADF. Let me say first off I run Accel. and had no problems with these before. Now the AP won't show HDG when button is pressed and no ALT info either. No info is shown when you attempt to turn the rotary dials on the AP or the ADF. Would this have anything to do with the font problem?
I had already downloaded the one you provided and placed it in windows and it had cured the orig. problem.

Steve, I noticed this, too, and I "fixed" it by reinstalling the two fonts (DS-DIG...) found in the FSX Fonts folder and letting them overwrite the previously installed fonts in Windows. Re-install by right-clicking on the file and selecting install.

May be worth a try. There may be no other way to do this once fonts have been installed manually for the first release??

That was going to be my suggestion as well. I myself may have "engineered" this by my attempt in this latest installer to place the two font files directly in the Windows\Fonts folder as well as the FSX ..\Fonts folder. I'll have to do some research on this to see what else I need to do aside from simply placing copies in the Windows\Fonts folder!

Testing the installer is a major pain for me because I have to keep installing/uninstalling Acceleration and SP2, and cleaning out all the installed files manually each time so it acts like the C310R has never been installed... :mix-smi:

For those running FSX+Acceleration, there's no need whatever to install the SR1 updated installer, as the entire purpose is to make it universal to both SP2 and Acceleration platforms.

Ahh, so at least I was on the right track:running:, I did as you suggest and all is well now. TYVM

Thanks for verifing my findings. I've loaded straight into the 310 and I've also loaded the default 172 first and then the 310. It's the same either way. I'm having way too much fun flying her to worry much about it and I'm sure they will get it fixed (if there is a real problem). Bills' gauges are very nice and I'll be reading the manual (A LOT) to learn all of the capabilties. Hang in there Bill:ernae:

Thanks guys, I knew that you would correct the issue. She's a gorgeous plane and well worth any bumps along the way.

Hi everyone! This is to let you know that from this moment onwards, we will only be providing support on the Milviz forums. There are a variety of reasons for this but the biggest one is that without knowing where all the posts of those issues are, it's become extremely difficult to collate and keep up to date.

Thanks so much for your compliments and support on this project. The team that worked on this has decided to do some more of this type of plane and we are looking at the Piper PA 23-250 Aztec, the Mooney and the Skymaster 337/O-2. With any luck, at least one of these will be out for Christmas!

Thanks again...

Oh PLEEEEEEZE do the 337/O2, lol, the "other version" has never worked correctly and it would be great to see one that's fully native FSX.

Im for a Mooney..a 231 with steam gauges..there willl be plenty of people crying out for a Aztec and 337 though

OK, that makes sense, but I tried to register several days ago and have received no confirmation e-mail. Now what:confused:

The FSD 337D/O-2 never worked properly with FSX, so Cessna 337 Super Skymaster/O-2 are strong candidates (and my personal favorites) :salute:
