• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

310 Out!

Hey guys,

I fixed it mysef and it now works great. If you are having trouble with the radios after the update, download this file from th Milvis website http://www.milviz.com/forum/download/file.php?id=163 . Copy this file into your FSX fonts folder. Then copy all the Milvis fonts from the FSX fonts folder over to your Windows fonts folder. I am not sure which one (if not all) of these steps fixed it but I am glad it did.

Lou, in the initial release Fr. Stupid forgot to include the Digital Bold Italic font in the installer...

The current installer include both fonts, but since FSX doesn't always auto-install fonts like it's supposed to, sometimes manual copy/paste is required.

The two fonts are:
DS-DIGIB.TTF
DS-DIGIT.TTF

Hey all. Uploaded the low resolution texture set (1024) to our web server, and the link can be found in the forum post by me here : http://www.milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=566 . So for those that are having FPS issues please download and give it a try. Also be sure like I mention in the post to backup your old folders somewhere else in case you wish to go back at some point as these files will overwrite the old ones.

I read somewhere recently about 310s being used in Vietnam. Flying out of Tan Son Nuht (spelling may not be right, lot of years ago) and wonder if they were camo paints.

Skyhawk that looks better than I thought it would. I kinda like it!! LOL

Is the Milviz site/forum down? Its not working on my end.

I am looking into the website issues, but I think since it is late on a Sunday over here that it may not be able to get resolved until tomorrow... I apologize for the inconvenience to people looking to download the paintkits & low-rez textures. I hope to have this resolved in the near future. Thanks for your patience.

.
Very nice paint, Gunnar! I'll be super-keen to get that sweetheart, if/when you make it available.

Thanks all!

The repaint(s) will be available (probably in the SOH Library) as soon as I have finished both the camo and the «Blue Canoe» liveries. :bump:

Don't know about the MilViz site - I guess that it is only temporary down (maybe some maintenance?) :running:

Unfortunately I have just found out that our site was hacked, and that is the reason it is down. We are moving to a new, more secure ISP. Our site will be up sometime either tonight, or tomorrow. Once it is back up support will resume as normal on our forums and such along with downloads of the paintkits/textures.

Any updates? Still seems to be down for me. Guess I'll just have to take another flight in the 310 to relieve my anxiety:jump:. I never could understand why people get enjoyment from the destruction of other peoples labor :173go1:

Good news!
It now appears like the MilViz sites are up and go again:applause:
