Just to make sure...

I am going to have to reinstall FSX acceleration . The way I have done it in the past is>

1>Install FSX disk 1 and disk 2

2> install Service pack 1

3>Install acceleration

Have I been doing it correctly

no need for SP1, just install fsx, then Accel straight after!

No.

Install FSX disk 1 and 2

RUN the sim to the loading page

Exit

Defrag

Install Acceleration

RUN the sim to the loading page

Exit

Defrag


Then open and use as normal.
