Cookies ?

Ickie,

Since the crash, I have to login every time I want to visit SOH.
Just checked my HDD, SOH apparently does not create cookies anymore.
Is it just me and my rig ?

No problems here either ... just check the box that says remember me.

I have it on my notebook computer. Was on the road this week and every time I come to SOH I had to relog in. I would check the "remember Me" box every time.

Prior to the crash, I had no problems.

I have been out all week on travel and I have had no problems logging in with IE7. Cookies working fine.

If I did ask, it's because checking the box that says remember me doesn't work for me.

I'm using IE6. I've never had this problem prior to the crash.
Apparently jmig experiences similar issues.

Just for info: I still have ante-crach SOH cookie on my HDD...

that is most like the cause then ... do a cookie cleaner and try again ...

Thanks Snuffy. You put me on the right track: it was an 'update.scansoft.com' cookie that was causing jam. Seems OK now
