TU-95 "Bear" - Complete! eBay!

The only time you'll ever see me use the awful OMG abbreviated expression of awe.......

Wonder who will buy it!

Is it possible to do what they did with the Avro Vulcan and give it some more flying life? That would be funny especially if a company bought it in the US!! Or better still had it at Nellis for exercises Red Hat style :jump:

Highly unlikely, but one can dream!!

I would like to buy it however I don''t speak Russian, And after trying to get that darn FSX MIG-21 even started.........

The seller says he's sold Hind helicopters and missile launchers on ebay before. Lol, ebay for Arms Merchants.

That would go good with Joe Gano's Warbirds of Delaware Mig-21. At least I'd have a better chance of getting a ride in it than I do the 21.

Could you imagine the number of F-16s, or whatever, that would be on your wing checking you out?

AWACs would go freeking nuts.

This guy sounds genuine, yet pretty bizarre. I can't begin to imagine the headaches involved in getting that thing to the US and flying it.

Gary- I've heard a few of the stories of getting the MiG-23 up and running. I'm not sure I'd do it. Although it may work if you can get a government agency involved in contracting for it's services as an aggressor.

MY DREAM AIRCRAFT!!!!! Someone loan me $20,000,000USD. I envy the lucky person that buys it. Hopefully they can put it through an airframe service life extension program of sorts to get more hours out of it.. It would be worth it just to take one of the Kuznetov's off and put it on an engine stand to do periodic engine runs. Although I bet replacements parts when it broke would be impossible to come buy. Have a few weeks to buy lotto tickets at least and hope.

These Bears has been a royal PIA to us northern Canuks the last few years. Thank god for a FOL full of Hornets hot and hungry for Bear soup.

If anyone could get that Bear over here it's Red Eagle here at KILG.

And where have you been hiding Chris? Haven't seen you over at Aero Taxi on a Sunday morning in a dogs age. ;)
