O.T. US Cockpits Going Away?

I don't know how many of you used the US Cockpits site for photos of panels, but, I certainly did. It has (had?) one of the largest catalogs of panel photo's around. It has not been very active for about 3 years but there was some activity early this year. Now all I see is a message to the owner for him to contact a phone number immediately. This usually means the bill is overdue. Would be a great loss if it disappears.

Wow, I was just over there last week, looking at photos of the C-123 Provider panel.

I agree, it would be a terrible loss if the site is gone for good. I've been using this site for several years and found it to be a wonderful resource.

I hope the owner is Ok and gets things squared away. It would be a shame to lose such a resource.

Hi Guys,

Why don't we start our own cockpit and engine resource on this website?

I'm sure that between us we can come up with a pretty comprehensive collection.

I'm off to Denver, but when I get back I'll try calling the number on the website. Maybe there is something I (we) can do to help.

No, it was called U. S. Cockpits and specialized in photos of the instrument panels of U.S. military aircraft. There were several thousand pics in the catalog.

Not good. Might have needed it someday...
