couple of file links

It's not exactly the same, but db_brewster_rack_M and db_brewster_rack_L are in a pack called f4u_weapons.zip :isadizzy: by Sergio Dolcemascolo, but I can't remember where I got it from.

I'll ask about where to find wep_german_multi_pylon. I located the .dp file in the VB German Weapons Pack, but after installing it just won't work.

Any ideas?
 
Thanks Rami, but my CFS2 keeps saying that can't locate the pylon in the library.

That one is the same file I have in my CFS2 stuff, but it just won't work, so I thought it might be in some different bgl package.
 
Japlance, did you try and delete the filelist.dat in the weapons scenery folder?
 
Yes, that was the first thing I tried. No solution

If someone wants to try it, this problem happens to me with the FW-190A3 of the 1% planes available at Netwings.

Had the same problem some years back. The .bgl for the multi rack is missing from the VB Weapons package. If you want...can send it to you. Have it on a disk some where. Send me a pm with your e-mail address. I will go looking for it. :mixedsmi:

Hehe..another blast from the past! I'm searching for the bgl that goes with the wep_german_multi_pylon.dp It's not there in the German weapons pack.

Did a search of my back up disk index. Found wep_german_multi_pylon.dp in:


  1. VB_Z506B.zip (where it is included in a zip name German_Weapons.zip),
  2. as a stand alone in something on one of my disks called DO24k_package.zip and in
  3. VB_German_Weapons.zip

For as long as I can remember this bgl has been missing from the VB German weapons pack.

I got mine from FVB. I can attach it here...maybe Rami could incorporate it into the library? :wavey:
This is only the .bgl file. One would still need the VB German weapons pack for the complete deal.

I've noticed an increasing trend in which users attach tweaks and updates to their posts in threads like this. In itself, that's all well and good ... until the admins decide that they need to save space and ask us to delete all the files we've attached to our posts and elsewhere at SOH. At that point, all those tweaks and other good data join the vast quantity of other stuff that has been lost to the ether over time !

It's not that hard to upload files to the new Library, and with the new system anyone can do it without needing any special privileges. All it takes is a little more of your time and a little more thought on your part, after which Rami can do his bit and preserve all that data for posterity ...

So, perhaps in this case, we can ask Dave to put together a new ZIP file containing all the original contents of the "German weapons pack" AND the perpetually missing DP file, then upload it for the enjoyment of all users in the future,

Is the VB German Weapons Pack missing? I thought that we have it and only this bgl was awol. If that's the case M8 I can upload the whole pak.

I also have the db_f4u_weapons if these are missing.
This is what you would need flying_spud for the Brewster racks.

I added the missing weapons .bgl to the package and uploaded it, so it's now included in the German weapons pack.

Also, the DB Corsair weapons pack is no longer available in the archive, so I uploaded it to the new library for safe keeping.
