Battle of Britain Campaign
For (Pat Pattle’s) BoB Install package for CFS3

Included:

  • Two Campaign xml files. One to be played as the British and one to be played as the Germans.
  • Spawn files that take advantage of the BoB Era aircraft.
  • A spawn selector modified for the BoB install.
  • Training missions that use the BoB Era spawn files.
I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation to Pat Pattle and his BoB Install team. I would also like to express my appreciation to the ETO Expansion team and all those who have contributed to the advancement of CFS3. For without their hard work and effort this campaign package would not have been possible.

I would also like to thank House Hobbit who encouraged me to go forward.

Thanks.

Good Work

Hi Mrjmaint,
good to have these posted! I have been snatching a little time to test one of your campaigns and have not reported back yet - sorry! There are just so many variables and so little time...

I hope lots of people hear about these and give them a try.

It's great having Pat's dedicated sandpit to play in.

cheers,
D

Great stuff, this work is very much appreciated! :salute:

Btw, please drop the 'Pat Pattles install' bit, there's lots of folks work in there, mine being the lesser of it! :)

Cheers!:ernae:

When I try starting a new mission I get the following message:
"No British HQs/squadrons can be properly placed with spacing 2 given the squadron data and frontline shape"
How can I correct this?

I have seen this error when I was trying to modify the BoB Install's "Country.xml" to add the FAA as a player. What I think has happened is your "country.xml" has been overwritten. This also may be the cause of your "level_bomber" aircraft category not working for your BoB Package.

You should try a completly new BoB install from your clean CFS3 3.1a.

I also had this error while building campaigns. Sometimes, it really doesn't work but most of the time, if you try several times, the campaign will finally start.

I've never changed anything in the country xml file.

Made a new install with cfs3.1A.Everything works fine now, my vanilla cfs3.1A must have been corrupted.
