Good afternoon, and thankfully it is the weekend. Has been a busy week I know from us posting up about the T-38A/C, and then the Ju-87 Stuka getting outted. Also testing has been going very well over at the Nemeth's on the SA-2 Samson. So keep an eye out on their website over there for whenever those guys are ready to give an official detailed update on that. I have been working hard behind the scenes with them though to progress that along. Alright. So finally with the A-109 these are the final VC/Cabin screens. It has already been packed up and shipped off the the Nemeth's (these same shots also appear on their forum as they beat me to the punch). Not to much to detail on that other than of course they are still working on the coding/flight model for that. These will probably be the last screens of it until we hit Alpha/Beta or somewhere in there. I think that pretty much sums it all up. Has been a busy week on here sharing details, and answering questions. Hopefully everyone feels they were heard (at least to the best of our ability). I know I try to address everything unless specifically told not to talk about it. Although I will say we are beginning to debate pricing options, and a possible package deal for both the T-38A/C. We on the team have shared our opinions amongst each other, but I am curious to hear everyone elses ideas/thoughts. Thank you for taking the time to look, and hopefully it was worth the wait!

Almost 400 hits on this thread, and only 31 have taken the poll at the top. Voter apathy is everywhere....

LOL. Many people were probably looking at the 109 stuff. I just threw the poll in at the last minute because as I was writting the post I got the e-mails that were circulating amongst us on the team about how to package it. Figured it is best to leave it to the community. Looks like % wise there is a large interest in getting both aircraft together, so looks like it will be worth the extra work packaging them together in a dual installer.

Don't forget that "views" may often be the same people revisiting to see how the thread is progressing - especially when there is a poll that they have already voted in.

That said, I haven't voted. I can't afford and won't be getting the jet so how it is packaged makes no odds to me. The 109 looks gorgeous though. I might have to work some overtime for that one. ;)

I'm not even sure what the question meant but I saw the word discount so voted for that! :wavey:

One small thing though even on my decent system I can't fly the skycrane with my scenery sliders the way I like them so please don't let these two be the same! I mean these two as most of your products are the very top of the line for FSX users, but please try to remember the people who maybe have not got 1000's of Dollars, Pounds or Euro's to spend like some of us on relatively top spec systems! Mainly because I'm one of them lol!

Edit ... Forgot to say this looks amazing too!

I do apologize about our products being resource intensive, and that is something that we are working on really hard (I know it may not seem like it, but we are).. Unfortunately sometimes that may come with a tradeoff of detail. That is one of those area's we have a hard time justifying sacrifice. Especially with Colin's years of doing CGI models and stuff for businesses. The Nemeth's are actually working on stuff in conjunction with us right now to improve frame rates on these choppers. We are also watching the poly count on all of our current models in production. So I hope everyone on the other end can notice a difference in the upcoming product lineup as far as performance in concearned. We have even widened our beta team in an effort to detect these issues before a product is released. The first guiniea pig for that will be the T-38A...

Mate don't take me wrong what you guys do is amazing, and I love your models and the detail, I was just saying though if you do manage to work somthing out I'm sure your market would increase dramatically well maybe a little at least lol! Either way I haven't missed one yet and I'm not gunna start now!

Didn't take it wrong. Just letting you know we are trying to put more stops in to try to keep it in check before aircraft get released. :wiggle: On our first models we always strived to provide the most amount of detail and poly counts came second. Now the poly count/texture loads are placed on an even playing field with detail. By my judgement detail hasn't suffered at all, and we get smoother flying models.

Yeah mate sorry, I wasn't taking it wrong lol reading my post back it wasn't meant to sound maybe like it read lol! :wavey:

With regards to the T-38, will you be able to see the wings, fuselage, and tail from inside the VC when you look over your shoulders?

I hope that's not where alot of poly corners are cut. I'm wiping my FSX clean of planes that are missing the external features from the VC view.

we cut polys by removing the gear from in and out.... and there's no pilots... ever....

Yes, you will be able to see everything you are supposed to see when in the VC.

We are not removing poly's, as in doing without per say. When I say we are reducing poly's some of our models were way overdone. Which is what led to the whole slideshow issue a lot of people experienced with the Huey, and other aircraft. When we reduced the poly's, and texture resolution on the Huey it was barely noticeable in the details. Could tell the frame rate improvement though. You will be able to see everything you are supposed to just like with the 310R.
