Apart from deep-ocean exploration, space is the only frontier left to us. Certainly I would jump at the chance.

I think I'd rather keep my feet firmly planted. I'm a big fan of gravity! (Although, I wouldn't turn down a ride in the Vomit Comet!)

I knew this set (legs) would get them going..
C9G has a way of keeping the interest up..
She is such a sweet Kind Lady, and I do enjoy our hobbit chats..
And her Legs WOW...

And as for the space station..
I'd Love Too go there..
The First Hobbit officially in space..
TOO COOL..
Beam me up Scotty... Going where no hobbit has gone before..:jump:

Nope no space station for me. I'd rather go to Antarctica, but till then i'm staying put in the Arctic.

The current length of the missions would be far too long for me. I don't like to be locked up, without possibilities to leave or any real contacts with the outside, for months in a area which has about the same as four bathrooms.

The look of the vulnerability of the earth would just scare me. A star filled sky on a clear night sometimes already frightens me.

Cheers,
Huub

I volunteer for permanent residency in the ISS. Screw the unusual living conditions, the views from up there totally make up for that.

Depends on how long I'd have to stay up there. A day or three would be OK but after that I'd be ready to come back down.

I'd like to take a ride in the shuttle.

Hail yeah, man... the 1st painter/artist in space. Ubetcha! 'Tis a matter of national security. :)

.
Howdy, all. Have moved from the Nebraska panhandle September 1, moving to Portland, Oregon & staying with my sister here until recently acquiring a nice apartment in Burns, Oregon. That's right: more of the "boonies" for ole' boxcar. Just what I like... 130 miles from the nearest city of any consequential size in any direction. Will be back here @ SOH soon, with all going well.

Missing yawl... well most of yas anyhoo. :)
