Question of the Day (11.06.10)

What I'd really love is a back porch in the first place but if I could choose any view it might be Camelback Mountain with the Pacific a mile or so behind it.

Not as close to Camelback as I'd prefer, but you can definitely see it from my roof.

Nothing beats paradise itself...

All of you have been soooo awesome in participating in this thread! All of us have enjoyed seeing all the beautiful pictures. Thank you for sharing!

rpjkw~ Both views, beach and mountain, are beautiful! Once you move permanently to Florida, you can maybe coax your wife to go on vacation in Maine, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, etc. (where some of the most beautiful mountains are) :)

norab~ I LOVE the canoe/lake view! It reminds me of back home, when I used to go canoeing with family and friends.

Brian~ I busted out laughing when I saw your snow picture, accompanied by your comment of "You want snow??". In my book, the more the merrier, so bring it on!

Bone~ Holy Moly! That's quite the view! I agree with Vin's (beana51) comment: It's an Eagle's Nest view!

Moses03~ Perfect Beach! I mean, PERFECT! The color of the water, the color of the sky, the color of the sand....paradise!

Navy Chief~ Nice picture of Wake Island! So peaceful & serene!

LD~ I howled when I saw YOUR view...the Waste Management Trucks hauling garbage...nice! LOL

jmig~ Both pictures are quite stunning- I prefer #1, I can almost hear the waves crashing against the rocks. Very pretty!

burcham8~ Do you want the legs in a poster-size view? :bump:

Penzoil3~ Would love to see a picture if you have one?

Brad Kaste~ Exquisite view-that one too is so peaceful and serene! One of my favorites!

KiwiKat~ Awwwww! It reminds me of the musical "The Sound of Music". Very beautiful!

Whatever a top floor loft with a balcony in a city can offer.

So something like this:

(Note: This was taken during a sunrise in a drunk state from an ordinary roof. One of the best early mornings I've ever had.)

Snow, Ice fog, Cold, Northern Lights and lest not forget the real long nights and in the summer midnight golf. wouldnt give it up for nothing. I live down in Old town Yellowknife. This pic was given to me by my neighbor who is a photographer.

Hiede~ Stunning view! A little slice of Heaven you have there! Hope you and the little one are doing well!

Bjoern~ Love the architecture of that building, or is that a church? The building with the three steeples?

CG_1976~ Quite the picturesque view! I love it! Snow! Weeeeeeeeeeee! Get the toboggan out!

Bjoern~ Love the architecture of that building, or is that a church? The building with the three steeples?

It's big, it's made of bricks and has an outdated architectural style. What can it be...? ;)

Funnily enough, St. George's on the left never had a real bell tower while St. Mary's on the right has nothing but a bell tower (after an explosive greeting by the USAAF and an equally explosive mop-up by the government in the 1960s).

Superstitons

Actually, I haven't taken any. About like this.... snitched this off the web for you. I'm a few mile further away.
Sue

Sue~ Breathtaking view! Thank you for taking the time to find a picture for me! I appreciate it! I have yet to visit the state of Arizona, but it is on my list.
