Simtech stuff ?

I could be wrong but I don't think many of the old simTECH aircraft were built for CFS2. However, somewhere in the Archive here there are (or perhaps were, since I could not find them today) two files for the Spad XIII which supposedly work in FS2002, FS9 and CFS2 - look for simTECH_SPADXIII.zip and SPAD_gauges.zip.

There is / was another aircraft for which there was a CFS2 version, but you didn't mention that in your list - the Do-335, which you can get from SimViation at

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb2.cgi?section=vintage&file=simtech_do335.zip

I think that link is for the CFS2 version, but it's a BIG file so I can't easily check ...

If you want to find the FS9 versions of the aircraft you listed, look here

Ryan, go to the cr1-software site and look for "freeware". Then just download the P-400/P-39 for FS2004. The CFS2 version is in the P-400 folder. Also, David Green did some real nice skins for the FS2004 model which can be used in CFS2.

Hope this helps,

SimTech planes

Boys, I have a lot of those SimTech Planes, and I bet others have the rest. I have at least these:
SimTec´h_FokDR1
SimTech_spit1X PA401 V1 INTERCEPT
SimTech_Spitfire MK 9
SimTech_FW190D JG2
Ditto JV44
SimTech_FW190D9 VVS
SimTech_I16RATA
SimTech_Spad x111
SimTech_ Spitfire MK 1X_DDay
SimTech_Spitfire MK_1X_Desert
SimTech_SpitfireMK-1X_Pursuit
And there may well be more, when I look in the old files. BUT... Same question as rearding the DAG planes: How do we get permission to upload them here at the Outhouse? Since the old homepages now are dead, I guess the designers will only be too glad to see their work still being used (and most are magnificient even by todays standards) but we still need official approval to do so. Rami, if you get such permission, just put on the forum pages, and I for one will immidiately start uploading what I have in stock.

Tom is still out there creating airplanes and Simtech has been reincarnated as CR-1 Software.

Do not ask for permission to upload them to SOH because it is not needed. All of the Sim-Tech offerings can be found at CR-1 software in the addon section. You will need to download the FS9 version and look in the CFS2 folder in that down load. That is where all of the CFS2 components are housed.

Hey Finn

That sounds awesome! Is Mr. Finn aloud to up load other creaters stuff if he has a good read me file. Unless Mr. Stalling can be contacted. I don't know how many people are in the same boat as I am and would like to download these fine planes.

For the Good of the people! Just kidding, I am a Capitalist American. :)

Other than some jewels some of you have given me, my biggest coup was getting the Beech Staggerwing, the big file, for FGS2002. It converts and flies like a dream. I need to convert the skins, but to Comrade Woods, bravo:salute:

I have the I-16 for FS9, 49 meg file size, it won't convert. There is one at flightsim.com that's 110 meg, if neither converts I don't see the sense of a one week download, lol.

Who mad that awesome collection of I-16s? Back when I was super bonkers for the Russian Front I was flying them all the time. I just can rember where I have them or who made them.

I need to upgrade my Brain's Memory. I might have lost some data to a catastrophic error.

MB, that's Ivan Hsu, and thanks to the file restore project here all of Hsu's massive collection of I-16s are back here at SOH. I just wanted to see if Tom's I-16 could be converted. I have one from ICARUS that has a gozillion skins, but you can never have too many I-16s:salute:

Upload

Hi All
Just uploaded a packet with all the SimTECH planes I could find on my computer - 10 in all. If Rami approves them, they will be available, but I still think it will be best to get approval by the original designers - though I can't imagine what should make them say no. After all, they made these wonderful planes for the common good in the first place.

Which ones? I might have some on my external storage drive.
