Any Deutsch SOH members who live near Speyer, Deutschland?

My 3rd great grandfather's house is still in Speyer, Germany, and is currently the city's tourist information center.

Just an idea, but thought if a SOH member lived anywhere near there, they could possibly take some pictures of the house for me? I have some external shots, (old ones), but nothing recent, and no pictures of the inside of the house. I can easily provide the exact address, but the house is on Maximilianstraße.

Update. Did some checking of my family history paperwork. The address of the house is 13 Maximilianstr., and was a hotel when my grandfather owned it, and was called the Pfälzer Hof.

With worldwide communication so easy with the internet, I thought, why not ask?

I used to live in Heidelberg during the late 80th/early 90th which is just around the corner, but I'm long back to Uelzen/Lower Saxony what is some 500 kilometers north of Speyer.

I just emailed the Tourist Information Center in Speyer, and asked if THEY would take some pictures for me.

I used to live in Heidelberg

I've used to live in HD's vicinity....

but I'm long back to Uelzen/Lower Saxony

...and was stationed in Munster (which is in your area).


Any connections to Berlin or Mecklenburg to make things really creepy? :d

I lived in St Leon - Rot, just down the road, and ate Spargel out in front of that house in spring 1995.
