DBKF B35 mossie ....

Hi all,

There are a few new screenies of the B35 project at the Mossie website below.

Here is a shot i just took.

The texture and model for that matter are still WIP, lots of little things that i am having to iron out as we go along but as you can see from this and the mossie website BeauBrummie (Jeff) set up that shes getting close to a maiden flight.

Hope your all still following us on this project.

Dave

P.S. first shot is of 2 B35's droping 2 4000lb cookies onto enemy airbaseand as you can see ..... makes a real nice mess, lol.

Keep slogging Dave, she's much anticipated! :jump: This modelling malarkey always takes more time than any of us expect. I've at long last sorted out my own mapping problem over a windshield frame would you believe. No-one to blame but myself, either! :banghead:

TOO COOL.. another wooden wonder to wreck..

I like to break Mosquito's :gameoff:

This Looks like a beautiful Bird..:applause:
BRAVO..:salute: :salute: :salute:

Can't wait to trash her..:icon_lol: :icon_lol:

She will Look Great in the site of my Bf 109 Hobbit Special..:jump:

Hey Dave is the the Mossie you started a few years ago?

It is mate but life events put it in mothballs till summer this year when i managed to get myself back into it and thanks to Jeff and Kev for coming back onboard and then to John for taking on the texturing of the mossies to come, i have set full steam ahead and am pushing through with it.

Nice to hear someone remember all that time ago, lol.

Just goota keep a happy balance between modelling and the missus ....... :173go1:, get what i mean, lol.

Lots happening though but please all keep track at the website as thats the main update place now we're up and running again although i will post the odd screenie here to keep it in the minds of our pilots.

Never really left, just did other things.

Spending more time RC flying than sim flying, but have in the last few weeks re-installed:

CFS3
ETO x2
PTO
MAW
OFF P2
CFS3 with Firepower
CFS3 With Battle of Britain addon.
CFS3 with all the Luft46 stuff.

Hi Dave,
Great to hear this project has been dusted off :jump:. Nothing I like more than busting airfields!
Especially ETO fields with all those nasty fat tracers zooming up at you. :ernae:

Nice one Dave, so pleased to see this project back on the rails! ..and it will be great to be able to replace those stock ones at last!!

We'll seeing the amount of views and replies in this shorter time is enough to tell me they are still a very needed and apreciated project.

Seeing this many people come to the thread has give me a lift. i mainly wanted to do this thread to determine just how many hits it gets so i can see the popularity of it and i think there is more than enough evidence, lol.

Well as you can see from this and the gmax shots at the mossie website there are some big advancements since i stopped building it back 2 years ago, i am anjoying it alot more these days and think that is more thanks to John (Bravo4) for coming onboard and doing the textures, it makes a massive differance when she has her coat of arms on ready for battle.

Well the project is now coming on leaps and bounds.

As for the FSX, not entirely sure at this point as its in gmax project and i dont think they fixed the gamepack to export it to FSX. I would have to go through it again to make some changes to her that CFS3 dont have but FSX does have, and there are alot of them, lol. We will see.
I would have thought there was a few mossies out there with just flight having there releases.

On behalf of the mossie team i'd like to thankyou everyone for the support in this project.

Actually it's easier working with gmax to build for FSX - or so they tell me - since ACES rewrote the gmax exporter a while back. Less faffing to get the model compiled and the gmax compiler is faster than the Max tools.

But it's still a lot of work to reconfigure the model for FSX! Whereas you now have the CFS3 model(s?) nearer completion, so our patience is to be rewarded after all! I thought the project might have been abandoned when the DBKF site disappeared for a while, so it's great to see you back in business. More power to your elbow! :salute:
