I'd have to agree. I flew Ito's version of this plane for a long time. . .even did 4 or five fictional repaints for it several years ago. A beautiful design for sure. I don't remember if I had it ported into FSX or not, or if this model even had a VC. At one time, Ito didn't do anything but 2D cockpits and even his VC's took a long time to progress to a point of usability.

UPDATE: No VC.
 
Did you notice how long he held the nose wheel off during the landing. Maybe he was used to tail draggers.
I really wonder how this plane would have been with a couple of turbo props engines in it. Say a couple of 2800 SHP engines.
Might even have competed with the A-10

Wow- I had forgotten about this plane- I downloaded it long ago myself... This was one of Ito-San's planes that he used a turbine-based air file for, wasn't it? If so, what did you use for an air file?
The more I think about it, wasn't the Moonbat one of a number of aircraft prototypes that were originally designed to use some sort of new engine design that Continental (and maybe others) were working on that never really got the bugs worked out?
